Services
A beautiful
place to live! Located in North Central Texas, just northeast of Dallas, the
City of Sachse offers a country atmosphere with city friendliness. The City
Page is a way to advertise city services to our citizens and boast about our
fine community to anyone who drops in. The City of Sachse has a bright
outlook! The City is a political subdivision and municipal corporation of the
State, duly organized and existing under laws of the State, including the City
Home Rule Charter. The City was incorporated in 1956, and first adopted its
Home Rule Charter in 1986. The City operates under Council / Manager form of
government with a City Council comprised of the Mayor and six Council members,
who serve staggered three year terms. The City Manager is the Chief
Administrative Officer for the City. Some of the services that the City
provides are:

The City served a population of
5,346 in 1990, while currently serving an estimated population of 16,200
in year 2004.
