Land Use - The
City of Sachse has adopted a Land Use Program that can be viewed at the City
Hall. This plan serves as a blueprint to assist the City’s leadership in
planning for the future and understanding the impact potential growth can
produce.
Acreage - The
City of Sachse covers 7,140 acres of land, which is equivalent of 11 square
miles. The largest land use category is dedicated to residential zoning. This
makes up 4,380 acres or 61% of the total. All office, retail and commercial
categories comprise 388 acres or 5% of the total. Industrial property
available in Sachse consists of 673 acres or 9% of the total acres. The
balance is either public land, flood plains or park land.
Maps - Maps
of residential, commercial and industrial tracts are available. These maps
indicate the location and size of all utilities on the tracts, location of
