Leadership Sachse focuses on personal and professional development as well as exposure to all facets of the community that affect our day-to-day business in Sachse.  The program is designed to enhance critical thinking and leadership skills that are essential to success in today's business environment.  Participants are provided with an unique opportunity to experience a behind the scenes look into critical areas of the community such as city government, regional partnerships, state government, economic development, and education.  The program is a great platform for networking opportunities and it also promotes community trusteeship in the Sachse community.

The program begins each year in September with a retreat and culminates in May with a graduation ceremony.  Participants meet one day each month for the nine month period. 

Applicants must live or work in Sachse or be a member of the Sachse Chamber, and must submit a competed application (below) by Friday, August 30th.  Participants are selected anonymously by the Leadership Sachse Steering Committee.  Submitting an application does not guarantee selection as there is limited availability; however, each applicant is given careful consideration by the committee.  The tuition fee for participation in the program is $600.00.
